This gadget works wonderfully and out-performs regular chilling in every department. It also looks the part in stylish stainless steel and houses a secret liquid core – which is infinitely cool.
Now the only draw back is it costs $29.99 for what is basically a beefed up ice cube, but considering it should never break and will always be useful the price is not to excessive.
The piet hein beverage chiller comes in a lovely polished stainless steel finish and is about the size of a regular ice cube. It takes about 30-60 mins to get to its super chilled state and continues to chill your drink for at least 4 times longer than regular ice. This super chilled state is produced by the top secret liquid core that cools very slowly to keep your beverage colder for longer.
