It does not at look for transmissions or power coming from a camera as most detectors do..
It works basically by detecting any light reflected by the camera lens...
...And as all cameras have their lens showing, all cameras will show up using this cool spy gadget.
How To Use The Gadget
To use the gadget simply look through the viewing port and press the button to activate the LEDs which give out the light to reflect back off the camera lens.
Scan areas where hidden cameras might be (such as clocks, stuffed animals, lighters, gym bags, shoes, even buttons) and look for bright reflected spots.
Think you’ve spotted a camera? Then move position slightly and if the location of the reflection moves as you move, then this is not a camera. If the location of the reflection does not move, then this is probably a hidden camera.
It is one of the best yet surprisingly one of the cheapest hidden camera detectors I have seen available.
Maintenance consists of basically changing the two AAA batteries when required, that’s it.
